Umm, check your facts. marshall's trip 31 years ago was vacated. Didn't count because of cheating. (Surprise, Surprise).
So it's a tie at 33 years.
Full disclosure, I watched both of those games at Ragtime in Atlantic Beach FL and rooted for marshall because they were the team from the state I am loyal to.

Ragtime? You have to go there when it's their time of the month? Bet their bloody marys are truly special.
I haven't been there for a long time. But the last time I went, it had expanded to almost cover the whole block. In the 80's it was smaller than the Boney's Hole in the Wall. Along with Pete's Hut, Ragtime was one of my favorite places in Florida.
Not Milk or Tsunamis
It was the 80's. Depending of the reason for going, we went to Shuckers, Thunderbird, the Elbow room, Annie Tiques. Can't remember a lot of the other names.
Shuckers I’ve been to I don’t recall the rest. Pete’s was my favorite though. I used to work the door at Sandy Bottoms in Fernandina beach, this was back in the mid 90’s
