For us Marshall fans, this is nothing new. We have grown accustomed to being the Flagship University.

Can you tell us the last time MVU got a real victory over WVU verses your glorious moral victories? Delusional and stupid sums up you MVU fans.
Its game week for every respectable program in the country. Marshall fans are giddy about meaningless pre-season rankings. Sounds normal.
We don't need a victory at all over WVU.
Here are the facts, they're in black and white and undisputed.
1. MU has been cited as the better program, CBS stated this and I've posted the article numerous times
2. We've had higher rankings, and continue to get more votes in the polls. Those polls are easy to research, I've posted those several times.
3 WVU is becoming THUG U, I've also posted the arrest records numerous times.
4. No one except for WVU fans care about what our record against WVU is. Last game was ancient history as far as CFB is concerned. Right now, in present day MU is perceived as the better program. All the facts speak for themselves.
I'll go 30 cat on you and copy this, save it, then post it after the season so I can tell your cone dropping ass I was right, yet again. MU will finish with more votes 4 years in a row.

There are 12 data points that say MVU is our bitch in football. Those are real. But congrats on another moral victory. Another banner to hang. Cherish them because real victories against WVU just don't happen. Still waiting for a turd to tell us when the last time you beat us in anything.

Since you're concerned about what the ESPN anchors say and who they talk about ... how many times do they mention FIU, FAU, UTSA, MTSU, ODU, North Texas, etc.? You know, the teams in CUSA. Talk about playing a bunch of nobodies, the vast majority of teams you play wouldn't get more than a mention on ESPN in a 10 year period.
Nobody at WVU thinks anybody should care about our record against Marshall, except of course the Marshall fans. That record is why you cling to Doc's votes and an article that only accounts for wins regardless of competition played or any other real accomplishments. We throw the record up to accentuate the ridiculousnous of your statements coming on here and saying you're better and that we suck ... but you can't beat us in anything.
Looking at a blind resume': One team has 3 BCS bowls wins in the last 10 years, one doesn't have a single appearance. One team has wins over top 10 teams and one team hasn't even played a top 25. And one team won every game played between the two schools by an average margin of victory of double digits. Yet CBS says that second team is the better program? Hmmmmm.
Here's the difference between WVU fans and Marshall fans. WVU fans can look at what's happened on the field and look at actual results. Marshall fans can only cling to what a minority of people say.
WVU fans only hang onto the past, and completely ignore the present. All your responses are the same 12-0, which is exactly why I laugh at the 5-0 vs the heels bit, it's ancient history and has nothing to do with the "current" state of affairs. Which by all accounts, per sportswriters, coaches polls, etc, all state our program is better right now.

We've played in multiple other sports besides football since the football series ended. What is the record in those other contests?
In basketball, we beat you by 18 this year. In baseball we played twice (I think) and beat you both times. I recall attending a women's soccer game against you guys a few years ago that was dominated by WVU. You can add a loss to Marshall's record in volleyball this year as well.
If you want to talk football ... name a team you beat that's better than the teams we've beaten. Hell, even name a team you played better than say, a #10 Texas, a #4 Baylor, a #11 Oklahoma State, etc.

I love this whole history thing from you guys. A month after we handed MVU a 18 point lose in basketball and after you beat a couple of bad teams in your conference, you guys were saying that game was history and we were afraid to play you. Same in baseball. If you want to be delusional and hang on any opinion that says MVU is better in football have at it. But keep in mind we have heard this shit from you guys before. We played you seven years in a row and the results were still the same. Then we hear the same shit again. No one on here is surprised. The only way you can defeat WVU is to not play us. But congrats on a few people thinking you might be better than us despite the majority knowing better. Moral victories because the real thing is so damn elusive.
