Evaluating Big 12 hoops so far

WVU beat #15 UConn, 56-53.

TCU beat Utah, 76-62.

Kansas State lost to Marquette, 64-63, the same Marquette that is the only team to beat my alma mater.

#8 Kansas destroyed Texas-El Paso, 78-52.

Texas Tech knocked off #13 Tennessee, 57-52, in the ugliest 2-team performance in a century.

Oklahoma lost to Butler, 66-62.

Xavier beat Oklahoma State, 77-71.

Kansas State beat Wichita State, 65-59.




5-3 was a mixed bag this week so far for the Big 12.

Silver lining time:

Baylor is ranked #2, Texas #7, Kansas #8, Iowa State #17 and WVU is capable of beating ANY team in the nation if Taz, McNeil and Gabe are having their A game!

Big 12 is 79-13 so far this season. That’s not chopped liver. Only 3 Big 12 teams have more than 1 loss.
