Everyone just calm down. If you set your expectations at 7-6 for WVU football every year....you have nothing to ever worry about.

Dana can talk about his old friend Coach Snyder....and shake his head....but hey, what's the problem? He's 7-5 again....ass handed to him by his old pal and looking for another ass kicking in the bowl game....but hey! We can finish 7-6!

That's right.....we are all wrong. We should be happy to finish with another 7 win season, and be 4-5 in the league, because of all that $$$ we get now and we have that nice Big 12 logo on our field and court. We shouldn't expect to be up there with the top 4 teams in this league......we should be pumped for beating a crappy Texas team, Kansas, Iowa State, and Texas Tech. We should be happy with an OT game with OSU. We should be happy that we had a QB piss his pants against Oklahoma. We should be happy we couldn't do anything against Baylor or TCU.

Just be happy......no expectations......

How about because he continued to call a QB sweep with an injured QB that can't run. How about because he choses to start a QB that was recruited by no one instead of developing one of our 4 star QB recruits. How about because he burns the redshirt on one of those 4 star QB's to catch about 4 balls this year. How about because he is the head coach (and therefore responsible) for a team that can't beat bad teams and gets blown out by good ones. I could go on and on and on.

I still say keep him for one more year though, unless there is a quality coach that would come to WVU this year (unlikely with all the turnover out there).

Does he stay or does he go? No improvement from time he lost BS's players...no improvement against well coached teams again...another so so year...stupid contract extension by carpetbagger OL got us into this mess. Fire DH and move on.

Bye bye Dana!! Good friggin riddance. He's not a head coach....good coordinator

Guy cannot coach, I've never seen someone so incompetent in my life.

Outcoached by Snyder once again.

I agree that DH has shown that he is not the man to make WVU competitive for a Big XII championship even if it is a once in a decade sort of thing. However, with the buy out and number of coaching vacancies out there as well as being late to the party with other schools already picking up some of the better up and comers ... WVU will still have DH next year. So may as well settle in to the Howard and DH show.

After today's play-calling, I even question that. A good coordinator would have been feeding Smallwood a lot in the 4th quarter. Absolutely shredded KSU's defense, along with many other defenses all year but Dana goes away from him in crunch time. It's baffling to say the least.

proven wrong when? Btw I told you this game was gonna be tough

You haven't shown us any proof that K state gets elite level talent. There back up QB is a WR like a certain other team that comes to mind that you also say doesn't get elite level talent. if K state gets all the 4-5 star players that you claim you would think they would not need be playing a wr as their back up

you ask the question that's already been answered. You just don't like the answer.

Now that you answered him, do you have a response to all the other posters that answered you other question ... or did you forget "lol ok I want to hear how it's Dana's fault." I can understand making the case that no one is perfect and makes mistakes, but to completely ignore the shortcomings of the coach and how it affects the football game is unfathomable. If you cannot admit that Dana's decisions (during the game, in practice, and in the off season with recruiting) contribute to losses like this one then you cannot see reason.
