Carter showed Gonzaga what a good ball handler he was.... as time expired!
Carter had 21 points, 7 rebounds, and one turnover in that game against a final 4 team. Hardly anything to be ashamed of. And he is returning next year instead of thinking he's ready for the NBA. Good luck to Elmore, especially if he's always dreamed of playing basketball in Europe.
Huggins says that Carter is the best perimeter defender whom he has ever coached. Carter won't ever be a great offensive player, so he has no reason not to test the NBA waters now, unless he's "skeered."
