The early signing period for college basketball will open Wednesday Nov. 11 and West Virginia will have three prospects that plan on inking with the Mountaineers during that period that will run until Nov. 18.
Wheeling Central (W.Va.) guard Chase Harler has informed me he will sign his letter of intent Wednesday around 6 p.m., Grundy (Va.) Mountain Mission forward Maciej Bender also will sign that day as well in the afternoon and his coach is supposed to get me some pictures and video. Hermitage (Pa.) Kennedy Catholic forward Sagaba Konate plans to sign his letter of intent with West Virginia Friday afternoon.
South Charleston (W.Va.) point guard Brandon Knapper is expected to be reclassifying to the class of 2017 and attending prep school for a season.
