Cause of death reported to be complications of rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia. Not sure how anyone could have survived that combination of afflictions......RIP Eagle

Saw them in concert twice and have stood on a corner in Winslow AZ.

My all-time favorite band.

I saw them in Charleston several years ago, and it was one of the best times I ever had! In this day and age, talent like that is very rare.

Part of the top selling American rock band of all time. Only the Beatles sold more in terms of bands.

That guy had the hits as a solo artist too which was why he wasn't in a hurry to 'put the band back together'. Great music.

He lived better than most. What an artist. What a career.

First the Eagles trade LeSean McCoy and other players. Then they fire Chip Kelly .... and now this happens.

What next? Another gambling scandal at BC?

I lived a "rock star" life in the 80's... not nearly as well as he did but pretty damn well... and then came the 90's. Met a girl, bought a couple of houses, settled down. Lived a normal life free of all that was there in the 80's. Almost a bucolic life excepting the high powered corporate life I adopted and then led. Then comes the 21st Century and into the first decade I get divorced and lose most if not all of it. Had to re-invent much like some of these formerly great rock stars have done and... Hey!! I'm still alive. I expect to be through this year... and, hopefully next. Sleep well Glenn. I knew you well. I also know some of your colleagues and contemporaries and have many fond memories. I expect to live a long and happy life only much more subdued. If only I had kept up... Oh, well.
