Eagle Nest: Thread 9

After one of the 'chicks' defecated on the HD camera video was hard to view....but recent hard rains have helped clear the lense.

These two birds are finally very close to flying the coop. It,s estimated that their wing spans are actually larger than their parents.

Thanks so much for posting this back in February. My friends and I have enjoyed those two so much. The day the mother was completely covered in snow was our favorite. What a lesson in life they are !

The cam is now (basically) down on a permanent basis.

It seems as the eagles practiced short flights across the large nest or branch hopping one of them dislodged it.
