Yes, my old comrade the Reds are a deeply flawed team, they want to blow it up and start over but are hamstrung by Votto and Phillips contracts. It'll be awhile before the Red legs are good again! Football can't get here soon enough for my tastes!
I used to listen to them when they were the only baseball I could get in Ravenswood....Joe Nuxhall...."and this one belongs to the Redlegs".....hated them...to this day the only major league game I ever saw was at old Crosley Field against the Cardinals........saw Roger Maris get K'd 3 times by a kid named Gary Nolan....submariner Ted Abernathy walked in the winning run in the top of the 13th....starter for the Cardinals that night was a young lad named Steve Carlton......how old do you think I am

Don't forget the albatross that is Homer Bailey's outrageous contract. You remember Homer, right? He's the guy who hasn't pitched in almost a year.
If I had a dollar for every time Bryan Price has put Hoover and Diaz into horrible situations only to have them give up a homer, I could buy the reds.

I guess Homer will be back next month but a power pitcher off elbow surgery is troubling!

Diaz and Hoover are human batting tees. The young kids, Cotham and Wood, should take their spots in late-inning relief.
