Been there and done that 😀

But what Huggins said has been a justifiably fireable offense for at least 30 years. I’m glad Huggins is still here, but c’mon… Let’s not buy into the absurd notion that people can say whatever they want wo consequences. Everyone on this board has a word or two that they find offensive.

Try not to further embarrass WV with doubling down on stupid. The punishment is appropriate. Move forward.

The only thing truly embarrassing about WV is what the democrats have done to it for the last 100+ years. Look at what they are doing to Morgantown now, doubling down on stupid and turning it into a progressive nightmare like Portland.

Only weak-minded people care much about what Huggins said when he was on a radio show on his own time. Do you know what real men do when they find a word offensive? Nothing. Just move on because they are strong enough in the mind to not let it affect them. What do liberal men do? Flip out like babies and demand punishment lol. Boohoo. We want people to lie so they don't offend us. Y'all really do want to live in a fantasy world. It's so stupid lol.

Man, maga loons are completely insane. Now in their alternate facts reality, Democrats run WV and have put it in the sad state its in.

Democrats have rarely been in power in the lousy state of WV, rethuglicans have been running it into the dirt for generations.

It was less than 10 years ago that Republicans took power in the state Congress for the first time in 80 years. Did you not learn that in civics in school? Even if you didn't, don't you know how to do a Google search? Bet you spent more time "learning" and "researching" about microagressions and thought policing didn't ya f@g?

Yep, WV was yellow dog democratic for many years. Now, WV is the exact opposite.

Unfortunately, the state is no better off. I’m not sure what the answers to the state’s problems are, but voting one way or the other doesn’t make a dent.

This issue is not a D or R debate. It is about decency and respect of all. No political party has the market on jerks or proper values. People need to quit trying to raise themselves up by crapping on others. I know it is popular for a certain type to do it but it needs to stop.

I never call for anyone to be fired and especially for someone that uses the term "fag". It was in bad taste but he thought he was being funny. It was for a certain type but offensive for a separate side of the population. Most locker room talk is like that and a public figure should never engage in such.

Don't be so quick to hold a stubborn position in which you don't consider the impact on others. No one likes being disrespected for just being themselves and it was good Huggs realized it quickly. Doesn't make him weak but rather it is a great person to admit mistakes and make amends.

Pretty much my take on the situation. Not ideal, and I'm surprised at the outcome, but agree it was the right one.

Certainly not. The point of my post is to let the smug douche that is Buckaineer know he is wrong as usual. Regarding WV's problem as a state, while it has geographical problems and lack of natural resources outside of diminishing coal, it is mostly hindered by the lack of a young base of motivated people to actually do more than either drugs or whine about "the little guy can't get ahead." Also certainly the brand of Democrat, the dying breed of blue dogs, that WV elected in the past is not the same as the hyper politically correct coastal elitists that get their panties in a bunch about the term f@g. That's why they'd vote for a Clinton, but not a Kerry.

Wrong board libtard.

Except when people say don't cry like a baby or don't be such a girl are those really insults to babies or girls? There is a difference between just attacking a gay person by calling them f@g and using the term flippantly in reference to douche bag men throwing dildo's around.
