Baseball is a sport where a very shitty team could pull of a single victory against a high quality opponent. There's a reason they play 'the best of' in the majors (although even they f it up with wildcard games).

It actually makes winning a conference title a joke IMO. The best pitcher might win...the best team, maybe not.....

It just pits the 2 bracket winners in one game for the title. WVU could have gotten in with 1 loss, too.
