I would LOVE to fly to Mountaineer Field games from Akron/Canton airport if I could to go Pittsburgh with less than an hour layover and then continue to Morgantown if Southern Airways will provide that trip.
It should would beat the 7-hour round trip in a car on my 83 10/12-year-old bones!
If anyone has any more details than the report below, I would appreciate it.
Southern Airways starts Oct. 1 in Morgantown, so that would cover FIVE Mountaineer Field games.

Thanks for any additional information on this, or suggestions about where I might find out more.

On Wednesday evening, the Morgantown City Council discussed changes to the local airport.

Southern Airways will be the new Morgantown Airport Carrier.

The Memphis based airline plans to offer all non-stop flights and Morgantown-based pilots and aircrafts.

Assistant City Manager Glenn Kelly outlined some of the company's benefits.

"It also gives us access to low-cost carriers with Pittsburgh. With that we are going to have one of the most cost-effective airlines," said Kelly.

Southern Airways will officially start business in the city on October 1st.
