that we can go very far in shooting the way we do? and that we should really be ranked #9? We got some real problems.

Same problem area as last year,,,, half court offense. We don't score on turnovers and ....,,,, it's trouble in river city.

I worry more about whether my puppy will poop in the right place vs. whether or not we pass or shoot the ball effectively. I'll leave that to the coaches and players. Nothing you say will help them and I'll bet you can't train a dog either.

Never thought we were a top 10 team, not yet. Too inconsistent on offense. I do believe however that we easily have a sweet 16 run in us. If we get hot at the right time, we might shock the world.

Actually .... no. But if we hit the postseason with some momentum, and have the right matchups, we can string a few wins together in the NCAAs.

But, on the other hand, its pretty clear that teams with very athletic and talented players (Like Texas and Florida) that can play defense, can come out, line up, and kick our butt at our own game.

The game is a test for the NCAAs much like the UVA match and so far that isn't going well.

Shooters are still needed apparently.

Yes. Because the games against Texas and Florida and a half against Virginia are the only times this entire season you can point to for your argument. Two and a half games out of 21 and you draw this conclusion? Lol there is always a "fan" who sees nothing but Doom and gloom after a bad game, congratulations you get to be that guy. I will let you in on a little secret, this is not football, teams don't go undefeated. Do you understand how many people out there feel the opposite way you do about WVU? What does that say? But it's OK I understand you are just one of those people who think they know more about something than they actually do. Its not personal.

WVU is going to face unfamiliar opponents the quality of Florida and Virginia in the tournament. These games are a test for that and its not going well. No one said they won't turn that around, but there's alot of work to make that happen.

1. WVU faced Florida without Jon Holton.
2. Holton will be playing in March Madness.
3. WVU still is the No. 1 with the pressing defense, rebounds, garbage time 2nd chance scoring, when Holton is in the lineup.
4. WVU still is tied for first place In the Big 12.
5. Some fans only know euphoria and despair. Sports and life usually reside in the middle of those two emotions.
6. I love this team and can't wait to see where we finish in the Big 12 and get a #4 seed or higher.
7. NO team, including Florida and Virginia, will want to face WVU in March Madness in the 2nd game of the week, with 1 day to practice for the Mountaineers' press.
8. The WVU world has not ended.

How could you possibly know if Holton will be playing ?

Every answer on here is speculation. We are still making to many mistakes at this time of the season to think we will do that well. Maybe an NCAA tourney bid, but if we can not shoot any better from the field and our FT are the same, we will not go far.

Yes, I totally believe. You can't control how well you are going to shoot the ball but you can always control how you rebound and play D. Hugs knows, and has proven you can offset a poor shooting as long as you do the other two great. For this team, effort and execution, equals success.

Rankings are relative to the year and how everyone else is doing. There is no dominate team this year but there are several very, very good teams.
