The Herd lost. They played late too. You guys are a lot like us, only without the National Champiohships!Probably not. Minnesota by 3 scores.
How did the Herd do? They lose again? Didn't they play past midnight as well?
Didn't know the Herd ever played for a National Championship. Pretty sure high school level counts about as much as rifle and soccer. The Herd lost. They played late too. You guys are a lot like us, only without the National Champiohships!
Brutal! The Herd lost. They played late too. You guys are a lot like us, only without the National Champiohships!
I'm certain you are wrong.Didn't know the Herd ever played for a National Championship. Pretty sure high school level counts about as much as rifle and soccer.
jv championships don't countThe Herd lost. They played late too. You guys are a lot like us, only without the National Champiohships!
yes it is brutal that your championships were on the junior varsity side formerly know as 1AABrutal!
idk what the payout for our bowl was, buzzard. I'd like to think it was worth a trip to La....I'd like to see you guys win. I don't know much about Minnesota. To answer the question that the OP asked - If I was a betting man (which I am not) I would bet that Minnesota wins the game because they have so many seniors and our team is young in comparison.
Now, my question is did the payout from the New Orleans bowl cover the travel costs for Marshall to be there?
There's too many bowl games, to begin with. I agree with everything you said. There's so many underlying factors in the bowl games, opting out and Covid being just a couple. You never know who will suit up for the game, let alone play at 100%. I think this should be a good game IF everyone "shows up."Minnesota is up & down. One game, they look like they could beat anybody, and the next time out, they play like they couldn't beat Long Island U. As for the game, hard to tell how this one will turn out. On paper, Minnesota should win, but the games aren't played on paper. It really comes down to who shows up and wants to win. Many of these bowl games have turned into jokes over the years, and are only played to pad the pockets of sponsors and ESPN. Then you have the ever growing issues with players opting out.
I don't know rather to hit the Laugh button or Like button on this. Are you serious or are you being funny? HahahahaWe have Doege. Bet on us to win
I'll have to opt out of watching it. Kicks off about an hour after I go to bed, and finishes about three to four hours before I get up at 5 a.m. for work. WVU has had to play in this game twice now. Sucks they schedule a kickoff for 10:15 p.m., but I guess it works out great for those in Arizona, the west coast, Hawaii, and Alaska. There's too many bowl games, to begin with. Earlier in the season y'all were saying you couldn't win anything with Dodge at qb.We have Doege. Bet on us to win
I'm not a Doege fan but I'd take him over the scared little bambi Wells. Wells plays well until he gets hit hard or throws an INT. Then he looks like a deer sipping water during hunting season and hearing noises.Earlier in the season y'all were saying you couldn't win anything with Dodge at qb.
You missed his sarcasm..Earlier in the season y'all were saying you couldn't win anything with Dodge at qb.
We never played in midget leagues where they give championships to team with the biggest manboobs. The Herd lost. They played late too. You guys are a lot like us, only without the National Champiohships!
I keep forgetting you guys are big time football, dave....I wonder why that is.We never played in midget leagues where they give championships to team with the biggest manboobs.
first of all Merry Christmas my old friend.....now to the rat killin'......notice that even with a soso 6-6 record WVU gets a better and more profitable bowl bid than the herd who sported a better record? Power 5 vs G5....it's a fact of life...if the herd wants P5 then start playing a schedule with a pulse, enlarge your stadium...well let me preface that,,,fill the stadium you have now then work on the other, and then win and hope some P5 conference wants to expand. I've watched JMU progress the last 15 years from piss ant to FCS contenders every year to Sun Belt membership so it can be doneI keep forgetting you guys are big time football, dave....I wonder why that is.
Merry Christmas to you, Sled. C'mon in to Huntington! Yes, Sled, it can be done. We went from piss ant to FCS contenders every year, twice as NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, and soon to be in the Sun Belt. Very much like JMU. Very close to the actual number!Minnesota will take away the run and force Doogie to pass. Remember last year’s bowl game?
minnie by 13.

This is somewhat true, but Doege holds on to the Ball too long and is reluctant to step up in, or run out of, the Pocket, which causes or contributes to some of his sacks and pressures. I don't care enough to attend a WVU game or watch a coach's all-22 video of a WVU game, but it would be interesting to know as to whether the receivers aren't getting open or Doege is not seeing open receivers. This is difficult to determine on a regular TV broadcast of a game, which follows the Ball, and not the receivers and defensive backs away from the Ball.Everyone wants to point fingers at Doege, but the truth of the matter is that Minnesota's D line dominated our O line the whole game, and thus the reason for the dirt on Doege's jersey. He's a pretty solid QB when given some protection, which unfortunately didn't happen very often this year.
check out yahoo news......they have a trail cam shot of a pack of 5 bobcats in Washington County.....very rare for that many to stay together.....starting 5 for basketball? This is somewhat true, but Doege holds on to the Ball too long and is reluctant to step up in, or run out of, the Pocket, which causes or contributes to some of his sacks and pressures.
