Do we move up to #14 this week?

Possible. I'm more into our potential bowl opponents. We're going to have a very tough game coming up this bowl season

At this point, who cares about our ranking? Finish strong and try for 10 wins. Set up recruiting and for something to build on in the offseason toward next year. Nothing outside of the top 4 matters anymore.

So, it doesn't matter to you if we finish in the top ten?
It matters to me.

I'd say it's more likely that we drop to #22-23 after our win......I have no faith in the polls anymore.

Seriously, WV played for the NC at least two times in memory (Florida and Notre Dame). What did this do for our recruiting? I truly can't remember getting a bump.

There is no reason for Florida and Louisville to be ranked ahead of WVU this week. Both teams lost their games last weekend as did Auburn, who is also ranked ahead of us with 4 losses. That is insane!

The AP & Coaches Poll have all 3 of those teams ranked below WVU with only USC and FSU, both with 3 losses, ranked ahead of us. USC might be the 2nd best team in the PAC 12 and probably the best 3 loss team in CFB. FSU with 3 losses is marginally better than WVU in my opinion; they are not as strong as the past couple of years.

I think the CFP committee is setting us up for a USC or FSU match up in a bowl game, either Alamo with the PAC 12 & USC or Russell Athletic with the ACC & FSU.
