Do we beat kansas

kansas struggles against huggys's most physical teams, this goes back to ksu. this is one of huggy's most physcial teams. we win by 1.

38% or higher from 3 and we have a chance.....

Anything below that and WVU has lost this matchup. We are not as good as them, especially in the paint, so we must succeed at getting 3 points instead of 2.

Personally, I just want Dax to get healthy and want our guys to show well and leave the game with no injuries. The following game vs. OK is more winnable, IMO. Don't need to limp into that matchup on the road.

yeh, dax scores. but we take much better care of the ball when he's out. is what it is. ku is much more winnable than oklahoma on the road - we need this one.

I'm thinking kansas is the more winnable game. At home. At night.

Our SOS to date is really bad, we need this one to validate our ranking and solidify ourselves as a contender to the Big XII title. If we lose its obviously not time to panic, but we will be under more pressure to get a major win somewhere else to get a 5 seed or higher in March.

Kansas and Oklahoma seem to be the top teams in the Big12. I'm not sure where WVU fits into that equation but after the Kansas game we will have a better idea of where we stand. I think both games are winnable if WVU plays complete games but they will have to shoot the ball well and compete on the boards or it could get ugly. I'm actually really looking forward to these games just to see how WVU stacks up against the best teams in the conference.

Agreed, I don't anticipate to win the Big XII but if we win we atleast deserve to be part of the convo. This is a classic "measuring stick" game. You could argue we had one against UVA but in my opinion the real season doesn't tip off until conference play, let's see how far we've come since then.

It's adorable when you try to talk basketball...

"We take better care of the ball when he's out"

Dax has the lowest TO per minute/ 10 minute/ and 20 minute ratio among our guards

His 2:1 steal to TO ration shows that what he gives away he returns two-fold..... Easily best on the team

as per usual, you try to confuse with meaningless stats. dax is not a pg and not handling the ball every trip down the court. yet, dax has 17 turnovers to 23 for jevon and 27 for phillp. dax also is not our best passing guard, which leads to turn overs.

lol...another message embarrassment for you. maybe you should go ply your bs "stats" somewhere else

So Dax Miles doesn't touch the ball every trip down the court?

You really should at least try to watch the games.....

"Dax also is not our best passing guard which leads to more turnovers"

In what world does that sentence make sense?

In the per-40 measurement, where every player's court time is equalized..... Dax has the lowest TO rate on the team by half a TO

Usage rates on offense:

Paige 26%
Carter 20%
Miles 20%
Phillip 19%

But Dax doesn't get the ball as much as the other guys, right?

interesting. whatever. not a pg. stop, you're really making me lol.

And how does that mean WVU is more turnover prone with him on the court again? Especially since he plays the most minutes per game (27) and commits the fewest TOs a game (1)

you're clearly wrong. but as usual, you wont admit it. lol. my best advice for you... pay more attention to the actual game

I still haven't seen the first half. I'll have to watch it tonight (I'll watch the whole game), but I thought our depth advantage was key. I got nervous when they cut it back to 5 again about midway thru the 2nd half, but I though we showed a ton of heart to gut it out. The craziest, or at least most surprising to me, stat is we outscored them by 20 from the line.

My favorite play was Devin stepping into the passing lane for the steal and the coast to coast. Has he ever done that before?

No....... but KU was telegraphing everything last night..... the 1st half was even worse (you'll see).

I was just waiting for the ball to be knee'd or kicked by Devin into the faces of the photographers on the break away. He pulled it off.......... I felt like a proud father.

What a great win! Can't wait to see the Oklahoma game. WVU wins that and I believe a Big12 Championship is possible and a Final Four trip.
