I just joined tonight after years away. (left during the decline under Nehlen's last years). I used to be a season ticket holder, kids and their events eventually took precedence. I joined again to say how I am disgusted by the coaching effort I have seen with the current head coach. Play calling tonight was the worst I have ever seen. 7-8 yards by the RB on 1st down only to go 3 and out because we throw (incomplete) or qb run the next 2 downs. End zone shots on 3rd and short all year. Howard is a gritty guy, but he is not a D1 qb I think Dana keeps trying to make him the hero to justify the fact he brought him in. so much so that he sacrificed tonight's game. we were the more talented team tonight. The lack of coaching lost this game, as they have multiple times the last few years. the team talent and effort has been outstanding all year. I am tired of watching jr high offensive play calling. I can' t believe that a D1 P5 school in one of the top 3 conferences in the country has now gone 3 years without a QB to speak of. and with nothing in the hopper, we are stuck with the diminutive Howard throwing from the bottom of the well again next year. That falls on the staff and recruiters. We deserve better than this my fellow Mountaineers. I am tired of watching a "leader" stalk the sidelines shaking his head like the on filed events are out of his control.

OP would you consider quitting again! You need to phone a friend not get online. When you get online your feelings will get shredded. Your emotional state will get exploited. And, your desires will never be satisfied. Like any emotional vice it will only get worse and become a nightmare. So wake up and hug your wife. Tell her you love her. Then go down to LIDS and buy an Alabama hat. Lastly, say this 100 time, "go Alabama, roll Tide"!
