I observed several times last night our defense was still looking over to the sideline for a defensive call and were not in position when Penn State would go fast and run a play. Most of the time it led to a defense breakdown and a successful play for PSU.
I thought the Big 10 refs called a decent game but PSU only had 1 penalty for 5yards. I saw a few offensive holds on replay. Our 5 penalties were appropriate.
Not a fan of the “cover” touchdown. But it is up to our defense to keep it from happening.
