I don't follow this kind of thing very much from a distance, but what is the general consensus around the conference these days as to WVU ??

I know there have been media assessments at one time or another about the mistake the conference made passing on Louisville in favor of WVU; but for all I know, they were written by people with attitudes perhaps personally favorable to UL (or else unfavorable to WVU) rather than having anything to do with any kind of conference reality.

Not that anyone cares what I think, but I do find the fairly regular "we should go to the ACC" messages from the fan base as pointless (and arguably damaging, at least on a limited basis) to our status from a PR standpoint.....while it continues to blatantly deny the basic reality that conference had its chance at us and gave us the finger (and more than once).
