Could be worse...

I was rooting for MSU and turned it over to Pens game after the failed fourth down attempt. It seems I missed an unbelievable ending.

9 days short of 19 years since October 25 1996. Oh man what a bad day.

Somebody call An Arbor and make sure there aren't any falling trash cans near the State locker room entrance.

Or there aren't 2 guys from Logan High class of 89 at the Big House.

At least Michigan has a coach.

Exactly. Michigan will be competing for the NCAA Championship by next year and will win one within next 5 years. Hate his brother as a Steelers fan, but Jim is an excellent coach. 49ers were stupid to fire him.

I know. To have a coach with the ability to turn an entire team into winners in 5 short games instead of somehow waiting for those mythical "his guys" that have not materialized in five YEARS like us...

They lost the game...

On a fluke. We hired a pass happy coach who cannot recruit a QB...totally different situation.

They will beat Ohio State this year. They lost to Utah on the road in the 1st game of the year. Utah is a solid top 7 team. Not sure exactly where they should be ranked but they are a top 7 team. They lost on a fluke play like you said to another top 7 team. They have only lost 2 games. They will win the next 3 games vs Rutgers, Indiana, and Penn State. And I honestly think they will beat Ohio State. At worst, they will be a 9-3 team. Not bad for a program that was in dire straits. Very quick turnaround.

Jim Harbaugh is an excellent coach and will do tremendous things at Michigan. I stick to my prediction of a championship within next 5 years.

This thread is dedicated to..... ...Joe DeForest.

I know in my heart there's a connection somehow.

In both yesterday's game and the Mack punt block, the best thing the punt team could have done was to tackle the rushers with total disregard for holding penalties. The clock would have run down to the point where the punter could have just taken a knee, after the penalty was enforced, on the next play.

Trust me, I have been thinking about this for 19 years.

Lgm!

Hmmmm...sure that loss probably will sting for awhile but they will still be ranked, they will still have a very good coach......you call that worse
