Hats off to SFA on the program-defining win tonight. Shot poorly (30%) identical to WV & got out-rebounded by 15, but still won big. Rarely did that happen this year vs top competition not faced by SFA over many games. If SFA fan, hold horses, nonetheless, credit where due in one and done scenario. Duplicate it next vs Notre Dame. Retain Underwood, expect big things & find a Walkup 2.0.
Now to WV, we need a PG to advance & go next level. One like Staten who doesn't turnover, assists and scores something consistently. I believe the other parts should be in place.
Carter in my opinion is & always will be most effective as a 2. Dax is strictly a 2. Phillip showed signs, but showed turnovers + fouls. Can Phillip reverse the trend over a season? Or is Carter a PG in training?
Bolden & Myers remain. Who will step up at PG? That was the difference between this dangerous regular season team turning into a post-season threat.
