I don't like to trash talk anyway, but I think it's wiser to wait till AFTER you beat a team before you trash talk about them.
This week Oklahoma needs to trounce Tennessee to restore the Big 2 image of the Big 12. Everyone else, except maybe Kansas which may be a lost cause, needs to win their games, too. A 10-0 Big 12 week would muffle some of the anti-Big 12 rhetoric.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 12
Liberty at West Virginia
Oklahoma at Tennessee
Rice at Texas
Kansas State at Texas San Antonio
Texas El Paso at Texas Tech
Stephen F. Austin at TCU
Iowa at Iowa State
Memphis at Kansas
Central Arkansas at Oklahoma State
Texas and Kansas were the only serious muffs by the Big 12 in week one, anyway. 8-2 isn't a terrible start. Even a close L to Notre Dame wouldn't have reverberated so much.
