Kentucky doesn't appear to have fared too well with this year's edition of the one & dones. Who would have thought they would come to Morgantown and not be ranked? I bet it's been a while since they were unranked, but they're still pretty good, and it should be a decent game, but UK is definitely missing something, and it's likely team chemistry. I'll take a team with older, more experienced guys over these young one and dones any day of the week.I think you can end up with a better team by getting recruits ranked in the Top 50 to 250, but outside of the top 25 one and done players.
I'd be surprised if the atmosphere in the Coliseum isn't crazy next Saturday. Not only because of Game Day being there, but the fact the opponent is UK.
Good points. One thing I liked about Beilein when he was here was that he preferred 4 year players over the big name types. Guys that would come in and learn his system and make it work. Both him and Huggs, although their game plans are totally different, take kids who aren't highly recruited and mold them into players that fit their schemes.
On the other hand you have the guys like Calipari who seems to like the one and done type of guys. Most of the time it has worked out for him, this year maybe not so much. Even though they aren't ranked, I have a feeling they are going to give us all we can handle.
Not sure about the score, but you might be close. You're right about UK turning the ball over. That's one of their bigger issues this season, and playing against the cousins doesn't bode well for a team that doesn't take care of the rock.
They are really loose with the ball and Cousins will take it away from you and dunk it on your head! I also don't think UK has made a 3 three in two weeks, they are Union bricklayers but they are long so I guess anything is possible but has the feel of a rout to me.
I believe that you should explain "College Game day" to the herd fans....not all of cabell or putnam county has cable tv.....or free internet....unless they steal it
.....just curious here, but.....have we ever won the game when Game Day was in town for any reason?.....
