I get a kick out of people not being excited over this kid. Look at the film. This kid can flat out play QB. Big, Smart, Athletic and has a strong arm. Its all about the mental part for him and figuring out how to run WVU's offense.


If you have a legit problem with his play or potential fine, but just because Rivals has him a 2 star means nothing. Pat White ras a Rivals 2 star also and we all know how that worked out. Watch the film!


This kid is the best looking QB prospect Dana has recruited since coming to WVU. I don't put anything into the offers either. Kid was strongly committed to WVU a long time ago and has had his heart set on playing at WVU.


Don't base your opinion on star rankings and offers until you see a kid play.

Personally, I don't get excited over anyone, until he actually does something in a game. Recruiting rankings, coach-speak , "insider" reports, and most of all message board chatter are no reason to form any opinion of any kind.

Some of the most hyped either wash out or turn out to be average (or less) and some unhyped end up being very good or even great.

I look at the recruiting rankings and stats because I am not qualified to judge football talent in any other way. I'm thinking I am not alone in that regard, except that I am willing to admit it.
