Plus let’s be honest, Colorado was his best and only current P5 offer. Cincy starts next year in P5. Translation, if he proves himself at Colorado he will leave for a better job. Big difference between Jackson State and P5 program

Not sure why he wants wvu to pursue someone Colorado is pursuing . Its not like they have a recent history of getting it right.
Hmmm, cause he wins and recruits 5 star players and brings a boatload of positive exposure to your program as opposed to losing in every category, recruiting in the 30-40 range and pretending its the best ever and bringing nothing but negatives to the program?

How many 5 star players has he brought to Jackson state? How many are required to have a successful team at a place like Jackson state? How many 5 star players will he need at Colorado to be successful? There is a big difference. The guy has only been a coach at the FCS level for 3 years. Colorado is 2-3 steps up the ladder fool. Sanders will not get top 25 classes at Colorado. He will be lucky to get top 30-40. Why didn't any of the other Power 5 Programs pursue this guy? You're the type of guy who if he doesn't like the look of his current Girlfriend you automatically think the next one is better.

If Sanders takes this job it seems more like a gimmick Hire. They probably had little intertest from qualified candidates so they have to roll the dice on this Guy. His name recognition will put some in the seats for a year or two until reality sets in. People like Bucky will tell you about the guy he stole from FSU last year but the problem is you need a lot more of those a year at a place like Colorado to win big.

WVU really cutting off its nose to spit its face by keeping Brown again. I’ve seen schools sit on a lame duck for 1 year before because of a buyout, but 2 is unthinkable.

You might want to check those numbers again before you get caught in another lie.

You don't go 12-0 without knowing what you're doing. And he doesn't have to be the greatest coach ever, he just needs to have assistants that are capable of doing their jobs and performing at a high level. Which is something HCNB hasn't figured out how to do

Have to laugh at the clowns so desperate to support Brown who just keeps losing, trying to downrate a successful coach hired by another P5 program Which didn’t accept the depths their football program has sunk to.

Sanders upside is certainly far higher than what Browns ever was coming from Troy and his name recognition and appeal to recruits can’t be understated as some are trying to do. CU isn’t going to be waiting four years and have clowns whining about “ what was he left from a previous coach” and CU really isn’t leaving him with much, unlike the players Brown pushed out right away. Bet we’ll see immediate results there in transfers and his first recruiting class. Probably see it in win totals right away too.

Well, its settled now, I'm the new coach of Cincinnati. They called me last night during the Xavier game. Trading in my tele for a clipboard. Lets go!

Tbh I kind of wish Cinci hired Deon just because of the B12 noise it would create. Who knows how the dude will be at the P5 level, but he looks pretty good for Jackson. I would bet 5 bucks that he's better than Neal Clown.

Yes this is a disaster. Let’s say he goes 1-2 v PSU and Pitt and the fcs. What do you do then because there won’t be any coach available anywhere to come in early to mid season. You tank another whole season? Replace him with an existing coordinator and still lose to the portal anyway and probably tank a season?

People acting like he is suddenly going to win more than he has are nuts. The conference isn’t going to be any easier and the new teams coming in aren’t pushovers. Existing teams like OU and OSU aren’t going to have all the injuries or be down forever either. K State, TCU, Baylor, Kansas, Texas Tech, Texas -all are going to be as good or better, ISU had it’s worst year under their coach and still rolled Brown.

Neal Brown was successful at Troy which is higher up the food chain then Jackson state so he didn't have much problem figuring out what to do. There is a big difference between coaching in the power 5 then coaching in the FCS. Colorado is a bottom feeder in the power 5 he needs more than just a couple of players. No other power 5 school wanted the guy that should tell you something.

Neal Brown was an unknown compared to Deion Sanders. Dont kid yourself. KSUs coach came from FCS and just won the BIG 12 two years in which answers that false statement from you.

KSU's coach had over 20 years of coaching experience there is a difference. NB was coaching at a higher level and had accomplished more than Sanders did. Who else in the power 5 wanted him?

I think we know why other P5 schools didnt go after Sanders unfortunately. No one had heard of Neal Brown until WVU picked him up. Sanders is well known for decades in college and pro football circles. Even today ask kids around the country who WVUs coach is and theyll shrug. Then ask about Deion Sanders and youll see how extremely wrong you are. Its not close.

My opinion isnt what i stated regarding what a lame duck is. Brown is a lame duck. You are one of the few expecting different results from a proven loser for WVU.

So why don't you explain to us why Ga Tech or Asu didn't pursue him? They are better jobs than CU. You're just a fool who thinks changing the last name of the coach will solve everything. Colorado isn't well known for its great decisions.

What do GT or ASU have to do with anything? They’ve made the same kind of coaching hires as 98% of the other P5. Don’t know that they are better than anywhere, just different. Atlanta, Phoenix and Denver area all nice places to live and work.

You are a fool that thinks keeping a loser who has fleeced WVU for millions is the best option for WVU. It’s not.

You have no evidence to support that, it’s just what your imbecilic self wants. Brown is on thin ice that is breaking, you just can’t accept that yet for some odd reason. He has been the worst hire in nearly half a century for WVU. Terrible, and nothing would indicate he’ll be any different next year than last year Or the three before that either

You are the one who suggested that sanders was a hot commodity. He wasn't Colorado was the only power 5 school that wanted him. He was probably the only one who wanted that job. I doubt you have even been to Atlanta, Phoenix or Denver. These millions that you claim Brown has fleeced from wvu I bet not one penny came out of your pocket.
