Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said in an interview Tuesday that House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., does not have the support to keep his job.

Roy said he is undecided on who he supports for speaker.

"I remain undecided, as do a number of my colleagues, because we saw so many of the failures last year that we are concerned about that might limit or inhibit our ability to advance the president's agenda," Roy said.

It should never be a coronation. If you want to be speaker you need to get the votes and that means promises.
