As Ive always maintained, outside of the champ and maybe the #2 team in the conference, this league isnt much different than the Big East teams we used to own.
The Big 12 is a joke of a conference it always gets exposed come bowl time at least its happening at the beginning of the season so the people who want to tell us we can't do better than 7-5 because where in the big 12 now won't have that excuse.
The crazy thing was that I was seeing ABC (during weather delay of Ohio St. game) say that there was an untimed down that shouldn't have been and the game should have been over with Ok. State winning.....that's hard to understand how that could happen with all the replay officials and things during a game now.
Sorry, I only saw the last play which appeared to be about 10 yards short until the lateral.
The refs blew that call which gave CMU the ball for the Hail Mary. Bad officiating with the MAC. The MAC crew has already come out and said they got it wrong and osu should have won the game.
Even worse is the Big XII replay did not stop the game to inform the MAC crew.

The refs did blow the call but the very fact that you are ranked 22nd and trading punches with a mac team in the 4th quarter isn't very encouraging. But Okie state wasn't alone Tcu entered the season the 2nd highest ranked team in the Big 12 and failed to get it done against an Arkansas team that wasn't ranked. Then there was Texas tech but face it they had the 2nd worst defense in college football last year so it shouldn't be surprising that they got smoked by ASU. The big 12 will have an opportunity to redeem itself next week if Oklahoma can beat Ohio State but based on recent history I wouldn't be optimistic that stoops and company will get the job done.
