Good stuff....but does it help or hurt to constantly tie our state to 20k mining jobs? I get that the nature of the job is tough but it projects the whole state as miners when its a fraction and would be nice to not be seen as a state of bleak(ish) existences. No?

Coal mining, even at 20K which is a fraction of its peak total that included my late father, symbolizes the work ethic and facing dangerof West Virginians. Being entombed daily to put food on the table for your family is one of the great sacrifices made by Americans. Huggins gets it. He also shows up when there are floods, with help, not just PR, and when there a mining tragedies. He tries to convey the spirit of the coal miners to the players.
