As many of you saw yesterday, Milledgeville (Ga.) Georgia Military College cornerback Cam Jackson announced he had a committed to West Virginia on twitter, but that was reported here to not be the case although the Mountaineers have expressed interest. Jackson told me that he has not spoken with the coaching staff yet but his coaches have and during the spring the Mountaineers expressed interest and reportedly offered him a scholarship. Jackson is originally from Mobile, Alabama but moved to Georgia to play football before he failed to qualify academically. He then spent a semester at Hutchinson C.C. in Kansas before coming back east to spend his last season at GMC. Right now he is 5-foot-9, 175-pounds and will have three years to play two when he graduates. This is definitely one to keep an eye on but as I said yesterday he will need to visit campus first and he hopes to do that this fall.
