Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage 2017 linebacker James Houston told me that he hadn't heard from West Virginia prior to receiving a scholarship offer from the Mountaineers earlier this week but he is very interested in the program. Houston plans to visit Morgantown sometime this spring or summer, but he now has ten scholarships offers and claims no favorites in the process. Running backs coach JaJuan Seider is the lead recruiter here and Houston is starting to pick up a lot of steam. Wisconsin, Arkansas, South Carolina are among the ten schools that have offered and he is starting to receive interest from Notre Dame, Alabama and Clemson, among others. If the Mountaineers can get him on campus they stand a good shot to stay in the race here.
