Fulton (Miss.) Itawamba C.C. defensive lineman Lee Autry told me that he had not talked with West Virginia prior to yesterday but was really excited when he found out that offensive coordinator Joe Wickline was offering him a scholarship. Autry is curently committed to Mississippi State where his brother played college football but he is keeping all of his options open and wants to take visits to other schools. Autry told me that he is interested in finding out more about the West Virginia program especially because Bruce Tall recruited him when he was in high school in North Carolina and Tall now serves as the defensive line coach in Morgantown. He was a non-qualifer out of high school and will graduate in December with three years to play two. He is being recruited primarily as a defensive tackle, although he would be a nose guard at West Virginia. I'll have more in an article tomorrow.
