Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes 2018 quarterback Tyler DeSue told me that he really hadn't received much outside of some mail from West Virginia but was able to get in touch with the coaches via his coach and found out about the scholarship offer from the Mountaineers. DeSue has split time at quarterback the past two seasons but will be the full-time starter this fall and already has offers from West Virginia, Virginia and Miami with a long-list of other schools involved here. DeSue told me that he plans to visit West Virginia either this summer or in the fall and from what he knows about the school he is very interested because of the success that they've had with producing quarterbacks and the type of offense that the Mountaineers use. He told me that his strengths are his knowledge of the game as well as his ability to make plays with both his arms and his legs.
