From Sam Vecenie at theathletic.com:

Jevon Carter, West Virginia: If I was handing out a five-on-five MVP award, I think Carter would have been my pick. He averaged over 10 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals, while playing absolutely monstrous full-court defense on opposing guards. He made life miserable in the first game for Penn State’s Tony Carr, who was held scoreless, and Kansas’ Devonte’ Graham, who went 2 of 13 from the field. He’s the epitome of the guy you would love to have on your team but would absolutely hate playing against. My guess is that he probably ends up being picked in the second round, as his offensive game is still relatively unpolished outside of his jump shot. But he was terrific throughout the event and deserves a lot of praise for consistently bringing it. I’m comfortable betting on him being an NBA player for a while.
