Since Bill Hillgrove retired from calling Steeler games, does anyone know if Caridi is interested in/is a candidate for the Steelers play-by-play job? He seems like a natural fit being Jack Fleming's protege and the team having a history of hiring local PBP guys. I know Rob King is also rumored for the job too, but I don't think he has much experiencing calling football play-by-play.
Some of you here have to have met/chatted with Caridi in the past. Do you think he'd be interested in doing what Fleming did back in the day in calling both WVU & Steelers games if he was asked to interview for the job?
