Can the 'Eers climb (just) one more mountain?

I hope so, but this has been really impressive already.

For anybody who wants a slight look ahead at tomorrow's championship game, keep an eye on the Texas/TCU game(s) later today on the same channel where you saw the WVU game.

Texas is just 24-31 overall and must beat 40-14 TCU twice. WVU got swept at TCU in March by a combined score of 31-9. The Mountaineers swept the Longhorns in Morgantown earlier this month by a combined score of 34-14.

Doesn't WVU need to win only 1 of 2 possible Sunday games to win the title? Win at 2 p.m. and it's over, right? Lose at 2 p.m. and then win the next game against the same team and the Mountaineers get the title, right? That's my reading on the convoluted Big 12 double-elimination tournament that runs longer than the NBA playoffs, or so it seems.

The double elimination ends with the pool championship today (which we did not need). With the 11-1, 7 inning mercy rule victory, WVU advances to tomorrow's winner take all 1 game B12 championship .

It's one game for the title.

I'm having garlic infused broccoli with corn on the cob. I'll add a Italian sub to that. We'll soon see if that has an impact. I can cross my fingers and my legs, but it's not nearly as enjoyable. How about some jalapeno poppers and a pepperoni roll or 6!!!
