if they play at St Marys the voice on the PA system is my brother........the head of the concession stand (killer pepperoni rolls) is my sister in law....my nephew is #3....rb and safety.....I can't come to the game....have to sing at a memorial service

I won't be able to be there either. Given the recent history of both teams I'd say that St. Mary's will end GCHS's playoff run, especially since they only have a 22 man roster. Everyone has to play........a couple of weeks ago they even put an autistic, undersized freshman manager in the game and he scored a TD ! (of course with some good sportsmanship on the part of the Meadow Bridge football team ).

St Marys doesn't have that many either...that Smith kid at tailback is the real deal for small school

according to my brother.the Gilmer coach got tossed for throwing a flag back at the ref and then his kid got tossed a little later for arguing with them....it got a little nasty at the end

I listened to parts of the game online until the outcome was obvious. I wasn't listening when it got nasty so I can't comment on what happened. I hate to see my team go down so hard but it was the best ever football season for GCHS.
