Irving, Texas - Seeds and game times for the 2018 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship, May 23-27, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City have been set.
With a victory over TCU on Saturday combined with an Oklahoma State loss to Texas Tech, the Texas Longhorns won their ninth Big 12 regular-season title and the first for UT since 2011. The top-seeded Longhorns will face No. 8-seeded Kansas in a 12:30 p.m. contest on Wednesday, May 23. In the first game of the session on opening day, No. 4-seeded Oklahoma will contest No. 5 Baylor at 9:00 a.m. CT.
Division two of the bracket features second-seeded Oklahoma State facing seventh-seeded West Virginia in the 4:00 p.m. CT time slot on Wednesday. No. 3 Texas Tech plays No. 6 TCU at 7:30 p.m. CT.
All-session tickets for the event start as low as $69 and total 15 games, including the if necessary games on Saturday. The championship will feature a total of eight sessions, all of which include two games except for Sunday's championship finale at 1 p.m. CT. Single-session tickets are also on sale. Additionally, group tickets for parties of 10 or more start at just $12 per ticket and include an in-game scoreboard message on the centerfield video board.
There will be three theme nights at the ballpark this season, starting with the Tailgate Party on the Mickey Mantle Plaza from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 24. Future All-American Night will take place on Friday, May 25. After the completion of the last game, fans can stay to watch fireworks. Lastly, Sunday, May 27, will be Big 12 Family Day.
