I'd like to know what you disagree with about Gaetz besides he fights the failing system? I'd love to jam a few things in boebert
Simple - I don‘t like people who spout hot air, don’t have a plan to move their ideas forward, and then throw a temper tantrum when they don’t get their way. And no, shutting down the gov’t isn’t a plan..it’s a temper tantrum

Please tell me how he is spouting hot air ? A major issue with spending is the omnibus, line item is the best way to keep it all transparent and honest. His idea is to vote on all spending separately. The corrupt leaches in DC don't want that . Having to shut down the government to accomplish transparency in the government spending is mass bullshit I agree, but if it takes shutdown then by all means shut it down to fix it .
You have to know if you can win a battle. Gaetz isn't going to win this battle. They were offered a lot on a compromise, 8% spending reduction and border security and they punted and got worse. That's next level stupid

I'm all for shutting down the government and starting over. It's way, way, WAY, too corrupt, bloated, and inefficient.
So what was his plan to advance his ideas? How did he plan on getting the Senate and POTUS go along with the spending cuts? When it comes to a shutdown, everyone knows - they just have to run out the clock and it’s over.
What would you suggest he do to cut spending? Or do you say just let the dumb stuff keep going?
He planned on doing his job in the congress by doing line item then sending to the senate and President. Let them take a vote ...now this is the fun part ....if done by line item and the President and senate says no then we the people can see who supports what and can't be played come election time . Yes he has a plan and the plan is working. Most normal people even old school Democrats understand we can't sustain this kind of spending. We have the right to know who supports what .
Great, so then it shouldn't be that difficult to find the Gaetz budget plan, complete with line by line spending cuts...including cuts to programs in his own congressional district.

Expecting those in Congress on both sides to do a line by line budget shouldn't be a fantasy, agree that it seems to be .
I don't think Gaetz should have to come up with the whole budget, line by line it is the responsibility of all those in Congress. His idea to fight what's going on and make them do what's right is the only way to get it . He is peacefully and democratically trying to fix a abused system.
Did any of our forefathers have a plan after fighting the British? Not 1 of them did .... they all had ideas and TOGETHER come up with a plan .

Okay so let's say your right it takes more than one person to come up with a plan...then where is the fully qualified plan to move forward with this? Don't tell me they moved forward with just a concept and no plan....because that's just stupid.
And now Panty Boi Gaetz wants to remove McCarthy..as Speaker.....okay fine.....this would be the second time he tried that stunt......so what's his pathway forward? Who is going to garner enough votes to become the new Speaker?

Saying he is holding his breath is just foolish. He is doing all he can do . He is getting on TV making his arguments to why they need to do line item and trying to get others to join in . Unfortunately not many want line item because they can't go home and cry they done all they could to reduce spending.
Unfortunately Democrats and Republicans will do as they are told . We both agree the budget needs to be fixed and what he wants to do will go along way to help . Yes they should have been working on it for months and had a workable budget in place for all to see 2 months ago .
They put rules in place during the Speaker showdown. What he is fighting for was part of it . Something has to change, it's gonna take some fighting. Probably gonna get ugly before it gets better. Both sides in DC is corrupt. I'm betting ol Menendez is not the only politicians with gold bars ..... line item budget will help stop special favors in the budget.

I don't think it's just on him to plan the budget, but totally 100% agree Republicans as a whole should have had one ready at the very least a month ago . It's better for the corrupt bastards on both sides to go in at the last moment and act like they didn't know it was coming up and caught off guard.

I see your point and agree some degree. I'm saying starting the fight , getting it out and to the voters attention. Hopefully more people will start calling their representatives and talking about line item and holding them accountable .
I can't say he is qualified to single handedly come up with a plan or budget but he has the common sense to see what's going on is not sustainable and something has to be done . I'm glad he is doing this .
