This whole thread (laced with anti vaxx misinformation) is a perfect example of the dangers of Q anon style conspiracy theories. The theories are dangerous because they throw out "conspiracies" and then look for any possible situations where that theory could (even loosely) apply. This creates an illusion of evidence. Which is why some people are so adamant about the theory.

The whole "I don't the mainstream media, so I get my information elsewhere" is crazy. That is like getting your news from the National Enquirer. At least some main stream media actually do real journalism, fact check, cross check and verify sources. This is like ignoring Vernon/Keenan (trusted) and going straight to VOM for your WVU information.
You know who disagrees with you? Bari Weiss, former young editor of the New York Times, lifelong liberal who married her female partner. Hardly QAnon. If you think the mainstream media is trustworthy, you’re deluded.

Listen to Weiss on her experience with the NYT.

Here’s an article she wrote on COVID.

Finally, even the CDC recognizes the risks of myocarditis and pericarditis caused by the COVID vax, especially in young adults, which can result in heart damage and death.

It was left leaning articles that convinced me not to get the Vax.

It was the CDC changing the definition of vaccine that convinced me I didn't want it, even though I had to to continue my employment.

Never again, though.

The covid jab is not a traditional vaccine, the CDC said so.

As I said it was left leaning articles that pointed that out to me . They also was pointing to studies from other countries. Add in 95 year olds with stage 4 cancer dying of covid .....
I spent a lot of time reading many different articles then used my common sense, my Dr's opinion and I'm a pureblood. Cost me a very very good job . Would do the same thing again

What convinced me not to get it was when they said you needed the jab even if you already had wuhan virus. Do you get a flu shot after recovering from the flu? Plus how many scams are run by offering you a chance for a prize?

Bari Weiss is an exceptional journalist who seeks out the truth. She is a true liberal who believes in freedom of thought, speech, and expression. Her work on Substack is outstanding.

Do not call the leftist morons that post here "liberals". It is an insult to the term. They are government worshiping, authoritarian Marxists who do the bidding of their elitist masters. Not a coherent thought between them.

I didn't say "all mainstream media" was trustworthy and doing their jobs.

Every vaccine carries side effects. Don't we all already know that? The whole idea is that it does vastly more good than bad. But none of this points to the vaccine being some sort of vast conspiracy by the mainstream media and government health officials. If anything it points to the need to get boosted, and there is a higher chance of myocarditis by contracting COVID-19 without a vaccine.

"Across all ages, the risk of developing vaccine-related myocarditis was nine times higher for men than women. Males ages 16-19 faced the highest risk, with young men ages 20-24 having the second-highest risk.

The risk of developing myocarditis among males ages 16-19 after a third dose was about 1 in 15,000. Other research shows COVID-19 infection poses a higher risk for myocarditis than vaccines.

The risk for developing myocarditis was lower following a booster than following a second dose of the vaccine, the researchers reported.

Mevorach suggested two possible reasons for this. As a medical precaution, people who developed myocarditis after the second COVID-19 vaccine dose did not receive a third dose. Also, timing may be a factor. The first and second doses are administered approximately three weeks apart, but the time between a second dose and a booster was about 20 to 24 weeks."

No other vaccine was mandated by the government to work in govt or on federal contracts

No other vaccine has a paper trail of govt officials censoring citizens who countered their narrative.

It doesn't do vastly more good for people under 50 years old.

You said, “The whole ‘I don't the mainstream media, so I get my information elsewhere’ is crazy. That is like getting your news from the National Enquirer.”

You suggest that sources not part of the mainstream media are no better than the National Enquirer, using the term “the whole.” “Whole” means “entirety” or “all.” You might not have said all mainstream media, but you do suggest all media not mainstream is “crazy.”

Keep praying for this young man.

The uncle of Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin revealed that he needed to be resuscitated twice after he collapsed during the Bills’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.

Dorrian Glenn told CNN in an interview that Hamlin needed to be resuscitated first on the field and a second time at the hospital after his heart stopped. He said it was “heartbreaking” to see him like that while Glenn was watching the game.
