3 Iowa State - Niang returning. Still loaded with top 10-15 potential even without Hoiberg.
4 West Virginia - Year 1 to 2 for Press Virginia could yield an even more lethal press. Returning more than half production in major stats. D.Williams. Experience. Depth. Out of the ordinary style of play. Improved scoring allows for more pressing. & that's a scary thought for opponents.
5 Baylor - Backcourt takes a step back, but leading scorer Prince & nation's best rebounder Gathers return.
6 Texas - Experienced & talented backcourt plus Ridley & coach Smart. Probably not pressing just yet, but finding a method to win.
7 Okla State - Frontcourt needs help. Backcourt does not. Hard to argue 5 NCAAs in 7 years for coach Ford.
8 TCU - Losing some. Returning some. Well coached team that made a big step winning 18 games last year.
9 Texas Tech - Returns their core & has coach Smith.
10 Kan State - Completely rebuilding in Manhattan. Tough season coming for Weber.
I forecast at least 6 of 10 will be Big Dancing with KU as a legit Final Four contender.
