For the sake of this argument, let's say WVU holds serve this week and beats Arizona State and Kansas State. That pushes them to 6-2 in the league standings.
There are six total teams right now at 4-2 or better. WVU, TTU, KU 4-2, AZ, ISU 5-1, HOU 6-0.
Kansas and Houston play Saturday, Tech plays Cincinnati on the road on Tuesday, and then next week Arizona and Iowa State play. If WVU can get to 6-2, and then have a home game against Houston, who would likely have 1-ish league losses on 1/29, this thing could get really fun and DDV and co. could start to creep more towards the top.
I know these are a lot of if's, but WVU has gone through what on paper, seems to be the thickest portion of their schedule and they could realistically finish near the top of the Big 12 if they keep playing this way
