than the AAC....22 to 19! In addition the conference draft leader Oklahoma managed to tie Cental Florida. And the conference was in spittin' distance of those lefty schools in the PAC. I would have thought that the conference would have left at least the PAC and the ACC in the rearview mirror. After all the numbers say it all guru doofus CFE and all his disciples have screamed that in all caps for months.

acc---14 teams
PAC 12 -12 teams
AAC--11 teams
BIG 12 ---10 teams

So just from a numbers perspective other leagues will have more pics--because they have alot more players to choose from.

I'd be interested in seeing how productive past BIG 12 picks are compared to some of those drafted from the other conferences. Wonder also how many undrafted free agents from the BIG 12 made teams.

Half the draft picks came from two teams pretty much

8 schools 12 picks after that.

If you throw TCU and Oklahoma State in there

4 teams with all the draft picks

6 teams with maybe 4-5.

Schools aren't developing players.
Brown has only been there two years.

Excuse for what.

Don't particularly care.about the conference.

Just matters what West Virginia is doing.

Like I said there is a huge gap between a few schools and everyone else.

A lot of the players with Iowa State returned though

But WVU should have more than 1 draft pick

Basically each year OU and UT might be in the upper echelon recruiting wise.

Everyone else is down in the 30's or lower.

WVU was 5-5 two years running (plus a bowl vs. army), so to think there would be lots of draft picks from those teams wouldn't make sense.

But don't forget in COLLEGE football (where the BIG 12 exists)

2020-21 bowls

2020-21 College football bowl records by conference: Big 12 and MAC are perfect, while ACC disappoints

Big 12 5-0 What a turnaround from last season for the Big 12. In 2019, it was an underdog in all six bowl games and managed to win just one. This season, every Big 12 team was favored, and all five took care of business. Only West Virginia failed to cover. No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 10 Iowa State each won their New Year's Six games.
SEC 6-2 The SEC put several sub-.500 teams into bowls due to the NCAA waiving eligibility rules. Three of those won their games. The conference originally had 12 teams in bowl games, but three had games canceled, and Tennessee had to drop out. The SEC was 2-1 in the New Year's Six, including No. 1 Alabama's win over No. 4 Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff semifinal. The only real disappointment was No. 7 Florida's blowout loss in the Cotton Bowl.
Big Ten 3-1 Given the Big Ten's mess of a regular season, there are not many complaints about the postseason. No. 3 Ohio State drilled No. 2 Clemson in the CFP semifinal to avenge last year's loss. The only loss was by No. 11 Indiana, one of those teams we see every season that complains about their game only to go out and lose it. The Hoosiers took their discontent to a new level by covering up the Big Ten logos on their uniforms in protest. They lost to Ole Miss, which was 4-5 entering the game.
Pac-12 0-2 Little went right for the Pac-12 in the regular season, and that continued into the postseason. Oregon, the league champion that was not a division champion, got drilled in the Fiesta Bowl 34-17 by Iowa State. Colorado put up a fight early against Texas but got stampeded in the second half in a 55-23 loss.
ACC 0-6 Ugh. Clemson was the only team favored to win its game, so not much was expected, but this was bad by any measure. The Tigers and Notre Dame were each blown out in their CFP semifinals. North Carolina was in the game with Texas A&M until the end at the Orange Bowl, and Miami only lost by three to Oklahoma State in the Cheez-It Bowl. Those are your highlights. This was about as ugly as a bowl season can get.

So despite the anti BIG 12 bias, it didn't help those other conferences win games.

You and others don't want Brown to succeed because you enjoy more bitching about a 6-4 bowl win season than you do a WVU win.

Fail yet again. WVU was 5-7 and then 6-4 with the bowl win. Wins and losses don't freaking matter in a draft ass clown. Your hate for WVU is getting old. Stick with your Ohio State team and **** off.

Bowl games do not determine which conference is better. Only way to determine that would be to have each conference play against each other team for team in all the bowl games available to a conference.

Perhaps OU should win a playoff game before you get all smug with Big 12.

Nobody cares what a s hit fan has to say on a WVU board. Back home to sittsburgh.

SEC 14 teams
BIG 14 teams
ACC 14 teams (if you count non member Notre Dame who had 9 picks. So actual ACC draft picks is 31.)
PAC 12 12 teams
Big 12 10 teams

With regard to football, Notre Dame is listed as Independent. Independents put 14 players into the NFL of which ND had 9 players selected.

The ACC plus Notre Dame total would be 51 players drafted into the NFL.

I have no animosity against WVU and I am glad that our respective schools agreed to play again(4 year agreement).

See you at Heinz Field.

HAIL TO PITT!!!!

No 1st rounders. Dusted by the big three P5s. No lipstick is making this years draft look pretty for Big12(still weird there’s only 10 teams and the Hicksville conference calls themselves Big12 😂).

ACCept it.

I’m still in the camp Texas is gonna blow this 2 team conference up.

Thoughts?

Thanks for quoting goof ball's post. I got to see firsthand what I had long suspected, and that's the same lame he's always been. Still a non-contributor, and only chiming in to ask others to leave, as though he's an authoritative figure around here. Maybe he needs to get a lot account? HAHAHAHA

Mediocrity this... mediocrity that... whine, bitch, moan, repeat.

You folks just have to admit it... WVU is mediocre. Always has been, probably always will be. Sooner you "accept" it the easier it will be for you. Makes things more enjoyable, too.

Let's look at why:

1. Morgantown is a dump. Everything sits on the sides of mountains. Little aesthetically pleasing at all.
2. The campus is spread all over the town. Educational buildings surrounded by slums. Football stadium next to trailer parks. Nothing beautiful at all but I guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
3. The school accepts mediocrity from its students. This is rampantly shown on this board as people have little in the way of logical thinking and the sentence structure for most is barely 3rd grade level at best. The school will take anyone with a pulse and a checkbook.
4. The school ranks poorly when compared to other similar institutions of learning. By nearly every measure, the school lags behind. Why would those with above average intelligence and abilities come to a school that's only going to dumb them down to mediocrity?
5. Largely because of number 3, the only thing WVU is ranked highly in is being a "party school". This is just an euphemism for being a terrible school with low academics and ignorant students.
6. The football team rarely puts players in the pros. The ones that do go are either practice squad journeymen, backups, or if the rare starter not a name anyone would recognize. As a result, WVU has no "brand". No NFL players = mediocrity.
7. The basketball team doesn't put people in the NBA. Therefore, NBA level players don't come to WVU. No NBA players = mediocrity.

Lump all them all together and you get .............. mediocrity!

I feel really sorry for the people who "demand" more. As if just by fixing one of those problems above you'll fix the overall problem. If only Gordon Gee and Shane Lyons would read this board, why they'd be firing Brown & Huggins and hiring the armchair coaches from this site. WVU would climb the polls quickly, surpassing the Alabama's and Duke's of the world in no time!

Or maybe the "demanders" are just projecting their own mediocre lives onto the WVU teams?

But, alas, I'm sure you'll all be on here lauding your Magna Cum Laude diplomas, demanding yet high paying jobs, and bulging checking accounts followed up with the weak name calling and ad hominem attacks. Rest assured, you fool nobody because nobody with the three characteristics above has the time nor the inclination to spend on message boards as most of you folks do hour after hour, day after day.

Good day.

Now, on to the so-called" fans of Michigan, Ohio State, Texass, and Pitt who roam this board hour after hour and day after day. Repeatedly starting threads and instigating squabbles in which only the same 6 people will ever comment in anyhow.

If WVU is mediocre, what does that make you folks?

How pathetic must your lives be to live on this site 24/7? Commenting on all things all hours of the day and night?

Whatever institutions you claim, whatever industries you claim to work, are greatly devalued by you. You're sad, little people with sad, little lives with no meaning. You're embarrassments and I feel for your families.

Teacher: What does your dad do?

Kid: He's an exotic dancer at the Pink Flamingo.

Teacher: I know that's not true!

Kid: I know, but I was just too embarrassed to say that he's a loser who spends his life mooching while spending all his time trying to get "gotchas" on the WVU Rivals board all day every day.

Well I got to admit that StinkLikeASpartan spent a long time with spell check in those rambles. Now if only he had a point to make.
