-Head coach Bob Huggins said that the biggest thing about Marshall during their three game win streak is that they have made shots which has allowed them to spread teams. Overall the offense is going to try to spread, penetrate and pitch.
-Huggins said that his team has gotten better but then they level off. They have gotten more solid defensively and are not allowing as many straight line drives. Still the team has to guard on the ball better.
-Huggins said from the 21st to the 26th the team will have off and most will be traveling home for Christmas break.
-The biggest thing that West Virginia has to work on is ball security. The Mountaineers have had far too many unforced errors this year.
-Huggins was asked about his pre game routine when addressing his team and he said he isn't much of a talker. Because they go 31 times he lets the assistants handle the scout and he often doesn't say much pre game. However things often change at halftime and at the end of the game.
-Huggins said that this not just another game and that is evident by the fact that this is a sell out and a very good James Madison team only got 8,000. When asked if he wanted to see it continue he said he didn't want to get caught up in that and wanted to keep himself above that.
-Nathan Adrian said he has been to a couple of the games before he was a player and it's a good environment. He said the rims there are just a different view behind he backboard and they should adjust after shoot around.
-Adrian said that Marshall runs good and is good in transition but the Mountaineers will try to pressure them to bother them. Overall they are pretty similar to last years team with a couple new players.
-Jaysean Paige said he has really embraced coming off the bench and before last year he had never done it. He told us there is a first time for everything and he wants to continue to impact the team off the bench.
