#12 West Virginia (37-12, 13-5 Big 12) hosts unranked Texas Tech (34-16, 9-9) for the final home BIG 12 series this season.

-West Virginia has won 14 0f their last 16 games and is currently ranked No. 11 by Baseball America and USA Sports, and No. 12 in the NCAA-recognized D1Baseball poll
-West Virginia's 13-5 BIG 12 conference record allows them a 2 game lead over 2nd place OK State and Kansas St.
-Friday's game will be the 34th all-time between the two programs. Tech has won five of the last six regular-season series against WVU dating back to 2016.
-The Red Raiders are 7-8 in games played in West Virginia and have claimed just two of five all-time series
