Because since 9/11 WVU working with the FAA established a protected airspace area over the stadium and medical center. I knew the banner company that used to sometimes have 3 banner planes up at a time during games. They went out of business years ago. They can fly over downtown Morgantown or the mall but not Evansdale . They were always thick during election years. This year nothing. Try and remember the last time you saw a banner plane circle the stadium like they used to.
