B12, WVU's cash cow...

By the way, you might want to take a look at how many all-time wins we have and where we're located on that list.

If you're going to quote me, then at least you use the whole quote - "We are a BIG time program and can play with anyone and that’s a blue blood". I guess you don't think we're BIG time. Why don't you go back to mommy's basement now. I guess this is why I should stay away from the main board.

I don't think we are big time. I know we are big time. This doesn't make us a blue blood.

Haven't looked lately but I would say it's somewhere along 16th to 20th ranked and over 700 wins.

We’re a blue blood. I heard ESPN say it. I read it on cbssportsline. If they say it then we are. What tools they are. You do know there is no such thing as a “blue blood”. It’s made up. By the way, we’re #14 on the all time div 1a list. I knew you didn’t have a clue.

most? Come on dude. Don’t be a fool. Or are you just being a dick.

So Allen....according to your logic, and the list, wittenburg is a step ahead of us in the race to blue blood status. Interesting.

The "Total Wins" argument is BS.... all it shows is WVU has won at a moderate level for many seasons....

basically that we've had a football program with moderate, consistent success for a really long time.

Ah, the definition of participation trophy and mediocrity.

And you hoist that trophy just like the rest of us if you claim to be a WVU fan.

This inferiority complex you carry is very revealing....... it seems to really keep you from enjoying life.

Thank you! You finally admit it. It is your belief that to be a "true" WVU fan you "must" accept being mediocre because...in your way of thinking...that is as good as it gets for WVU. Wow.

lol, again with this "acceptance of mediocrity' play that you're fixated upon.

I'm a WVU fan. Grew up one. Went to school there. Remain one.

To be a WVU fan, it means that you accept moderate success on the football field because that's what our football program has produced over its lifespan.......

or are you admitting that you just hopped on the Pat White bandwagon like most of our "fans"?

The fact is this team could go 1-11 next season and you'd still post here and you'd still wear your WVU shirt........... so don't be a hypocrite.

You lack self-awareness as a WVU fan

You keep repeating the "Creed of Mediocrity". We get it....if you are from the Mountain state or WVU then you must accept so so results in life. Maybe that kind of thinking comes from a C average? Just sayin'. By the way you must get all wet when the Mountaineers lead at halftime lol.

Who did?

Nobody. There was no universally recognized national champion until the AP started selecting champions in 1936.

There were other determinations from 1869-1935
NCF
HAF
CFRA

1922 California, Cornell, Princeton NCF, HAF, CFRA, NCF

UPI was added in 1950
FWAA added in 1954
USA/CNN added in 1982
BCS in 1998
CFP in 2014

You're trying too hard to be offensive.... doesn't suit you.

The fact that you're on the internet playing the "I don't accept mediocrity" card......... while also claiming to be a WVU is hypocritical. We are a program who has averaged 7 wins a season

Either you're brand new to the fanbase, or you ACCEPT 7 wins a season as a program's history. This false sense of superiority that you're trying to play here is ridiculous..... you're a WVU fan......... to be that with any longevity means that you've REMAINED a fan through mediocre seasons, great seasons and bad seasons.

Which topic are you arguing? Really. Once again however it does come through that you believe WVU football having mediocre results thrills you in some way.

BTW: next time you have a chance to earn more money refuse it. After all so so is so much fun.

Also, if you plan to discuss anything please show a little logic. You have entered my "you are a waste of time" zone....so goodnight junior.

Notice how he tried his best to swim away from the point of my post, lol

I thought being a WVU fan meant that you wanted to compete with the best, you wanted to win every game, that you wanted to win the conference championship, that you wanted to win a national championship, and that if it didn't happen this year you hoped you lived long enough to see it happen in the future.
