I don’t know if this is going to happen but there sure is a lot of speculation on the topic. I am having a tough time understanding why CU would jump before seeing the final P12 deal. However, you would have to believe they’ve seen some numbers, and what the mix of linear and streaming is going to look like, so they likely have a fairly reasonable understanding of the P12 deal. I just don’t see the urgency on their part or any P12 team to make a decision. The B12 will take them at anytime. They have all the leverage UNTIL the B10 strikes. Then they will be scrambling and likely at a reduced cost. So maybe that’s the leverage? If they wait, their $31.7M gets slashed because they have nowhere else to go other than Mountain West. I don’t see the B10 moving anytime soon so I suspect CU is still months away from a decision.

How much sense would a Big 12 return make for Colorado?
No Pac-12 school has been more receptive to joining the Big 12, sources said, than Colorado. But what would be best for the Buffaloes?
