Having a decent offensive foundation coming back next season with the hope of another year from Daniels.
Possibly making a switch at DC like he did for the offense. Or trying to get that side better by portal or younger guys.
The buyout in 2024 is much more manageable.
These 3 things seem to add up to him getting another Season and I'm almost convinced these will be the selling points Lyons uses to justify it.
In my opinion he should already be gone and we should be working on the replacement already. Following WVU football for over 30 years I have a feeling the opposite of what should happen will happen.
