This is certainly another way to look at expansion candidates and also at schools already in a P5 conference who don't look very good on this list.

The posters who continually claim that we can't do better than 7-5 because where in the Big 12 now are not gonna like this list considering only Texas and Oklahoma are rated better than us.

So if the expansion list were to have teams as acceptable for inclusion ranked higher than the lowest ranked current Big 12 team, Kansas at 63, candidates could be: BYU, Houston, SMU, Army and Navy among available teams. Interesting!

You missed Iowa State at number 83. Vanderbilt and Rutgers are tearing it up for the SEC and BIG10 at 89 and 86. Colorado State, Wake Forest and Cincinnati in a virtual dead heat at 77(a tie) 80 and 81.

So add CSU and Cincy back in the mix along with Tulsa, So. Miss, Tulane and Air Force. All teams listed higher than ISU and probably available.

And thanks for the correction, especially without being nasty about it. Some could learn from that.

At this point I don't know what to expect or have a very clear idea what and who is driving the train. Of course that list would look a lot different if it were programs after WWII or programs after 1970. For a lot of those teams with decent rankings, the question "What have you done for me lately" would be relevant. I think WVU probably still comes out in the top 40, but lots of those rankings would change a lot if they didn't go back to 1933.
