Anyone used a bamboo steamer before?

I have. You can cook about any meat, fish, fowl or veggies in them, but I especially like them for tamales. You can also stack them to cook various dishes at the same time.
One tip; these work much better in woks than in standard western pots and pans.
The real downside with them is they're a bear to keep clean.
